2012: Instagram increased their total user accounts to 30 million

In 2012 it was reported that more mobile subscribers used apps than browsed the web on their device.

2013: Snapchat was offered $4 billion by Google

Users spent more than $10 billion on apps in 2013.

For 2014, predictions are showing a widespread shift to Mobile Marketing with a large emphasis on visual elements. To keep on trend, be sure to get on photo, video and content-sharing mobile apps for your best chance at advertising and marketing success! Some great ideas are Vine, Snapchat, Instagram, Reddit and Quora. Many trendsetters are using crowdsourcing as a major form of success on such platforms. Creativity and quick-thinking is key!
